Book Report Projects: Project directions are going home today. Please help your child choose a book and a project by this Friday. All students must choose a NONFICTION book for this project. When we go to the library tomorrow I can help the students choose appropriate books. Please make sure your child returns any library books that are due.
Attendance/Tardies: I know this time of year the students are tired and morning routines are difficult. The time change can make it especially difficult. However, please make every effort to get your child to school on time. This morning I started the day with a full 1/3 of my class gone! It is disruptive for your child and their classmates when they come in late. I am absolutely not singling anyone out, and trust me, I understand how hard it can be to get kids moving in the morning! I just wanted to raise the issue because the tardies in my room keep stacking up and it means lots of confusion throughout the day when students miss an important morning announcement.

- Report Cards go home Friday-please look for it!
- Spring Picture day is next Tuesday. I don't have any information on it yet, but keep looking for it!
- TASTY DOG FUND RAISER IS NEXT MONDAY! Who doesn't love a hotdog? Great food, great prizes, great cause. Plus-no cooking that night! Be sure to mention you are there for IRVING when you go or they won't count it. You can go through the drive through-just mention you are from IRVING.
